Dark Spots
IPL (intense pulse light) targets melanin in the skin. The light energy is absorbed by pigmented areas (such as sun spots, age spots, or freckles), causing the pigment to break down and eventually be absorbed by the body or slough off with dead skin cells. It reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation, evens out skin tone, and improves overall skin clarity.
IPL also targets the bacteria responsible for acne (P. acnes) and reduces the inflammation associated with acne. It also helps to shrink sebaceous glands, decreasing oil production and preventing future breakouts.
Helps to reduce active acne, minimize redness, and prevent future acne formation. It can also improve the appearance of acne scars over time.
Multiple treatments (typically 3-6 sessions) are usually necessary for optimal results, spaced about a month apart.

Erbium laser facial treatments are popular for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation. This treatment helps treat fine lines and wrinkles, reduces sun damage and age spots, improves skin texture and tone, minimizes acne and surgical scars. We often treat the face, neck, and decollete area.
Post-Treatment Care:
Skin may appear red and swollen, similar to a sunburn.
Keep the treated area moisturized and protected from the sun.
Full recovery usually takes 5-10 days.
